Update: On March 16, 2021, an employee of The Pines Machias tested positive for COVID 19. The employee is currently in quarantine. According to the NYSDOH regulations, this suspends in-person visits at this time. We will announce when the facility will be allowed to reopen for in-person visits. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Window and Skype visits are still available by calling 716-353-8516 to schedule.
The facility is now eligible to host indoor visits and will begin doing so on Tuesday, March 16th.
The Pines Machias is now conducting In Person Visitation.
Our visitation schedule will be as follows:
- Monday and Wednesday: 15-minute window visit sessions from 10:00-11:30 and 2:30-4:00. Must call to schedule an appointment
- Tuesday and Thursdays: 60 minute indoor visit sessions. Morning session visitors must arrive at 10:00 for 10:30-11:30 visits, Afternoon visitors must arrive at 2:00 for 2:30-3:30 visits. There will be 4 appointment slots for the morning session and 4 slots for the afternoon session
Visitors per Resident
Limit 2 visitors per resident. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Small and infant children count as a visitor.
Important Note on Shut Downs
Please be aware that one positive COVID test will force us to shut down indoor visits immediately so scheduled appointments are subject to change with little to no notice.
