This information is to update family members on the new, state-directed, rules that will apply to visits effective September 17, 2020. Beginning the week of September 27th, we will be resuming outdoor visits. They will occur on Tuesdays and Thursday, with a morning session from 10:30-11:30 and an afternoon session from 3:00-4:00. There will be 5 appointments available at each session. On Mondays and Wednesday, we will continue to host window visits between 10:00-11:30, and again, from 2:30-4:00. New rules require that the outdoor, in-person visits can only occur if the visitor can show proof of a negative COVID swab test within the past 7 days. COVID swab tests must be arranged by the visitor and cannot be completed by the facility. We understand that these new rules may be very frustrating, which is why we are continuing with window visits for those who cannot obtain tests. Once weather becomes an issue, our outdoor visits will be moved indoors to the Grove. All in-person visits will still require health screening, mask-wearing and social distancing. Thank you for continuing to bear with us as we work through these visitation challenges. Please also note, that all of our residents have tested negative in the recent round of resident-testing, that was related to our positive employee. Thank you again, for everything you do to benefit our residents and efforts to remain infection-free.
