Hello Everyone, we hope you are well! The staff and residents at The Pines of Olean would like to thank our wonderful families and community for their support and encouragement during this time. The Pines staff are continuing to monitor all guidance from the county and state health departments, and the Centers for Disease Control at the Federal level. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our residents, which is why we are making sure to stay current on all mandates for nursing homes. Our staff is working diligently to maintain a level of normalcy for our residents as it has been hard for them not seeing their loved ones, which is why we initiated Skype. We are excited to announce that at the end of last week we finalized our “window visit” policy and will be initiating those visits beginning May 4, 2020, which will definitely make for a lot of smiles in our facility! We are also currently working on a method to get information out quickly to families through the use of “robo calls” and mass text messaging in effort to maintain excellent communication with responsible parties of our residents.
