Announcement from The Olean Pines, September 18, 2020

Please be advised that on the afternoon of September 18, 2020, Pines of Olean received a report from our lab that a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.  Per the recommendations from the Department of Health, The Pines of Olean will be COVID testing all residents in the facility. If you do not want your family member to be tested, please contact the facility no later than noon on Monday, September 21, 2020. If we do not hear from you, we will proceed with the recommended testing.

Machias Facility Update for New Visitation Schedule

This information is to update family members on the new, state-directed, rules that will apply to visits effective September 17, 2020. Beginning the week of September 27th, we will be resuming outdoor visits. They will occur on Tuesdays and Thursday, with a morning session from 10:30-11:30 and an afternoon session from 3:00-4:00.

Please be advised that on the morning of September 4, 2020, Pines of Olean received a report from the Cattaraugus County Health Department that a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.  As required, we have provided notification to all families and staff members of the positive results.  We have also offered testing to all residents as a precautionary measure. The facility continues to diligently follow NYS DOH and CDC guidelines. The health and wellbeing of our residents and staff continue to be our priority.

Please be advised that on the afternoon of August 21, 2020, Pines of Olean received a report from the Cattaraugus County Health Department that a staff member tested positive for COVID 19.  As required, we have provided notification to all families and staff members of the positive results.  We have also offered testing to all residents as a precautionary measure.
